For those with kids in daycare, pre-school or pre-K, you have options here at Elyson. Magnolia Prep follows a Scandinavian learning model where emphasis is placed on the outdoors. Kiddie Academy and Children's Lighthouse offer daycare for kids as young as 6 weeks, continuing on to pre-school and pre-K programs, with after-school opportunities for kids up to 12 years old.
Those looking for ongoing education opportunities will find that Elyson puts you in the perfect place. The University of Houston at Katy has excellent programs for nursing, engineering and more on its 46-acre campus — and is considered part of the main University of Houston, a tier-one research university. And the newly opened Katy campus of Houston Community College offers programs in fields like design, behavioral science, business and engineering, to name just a few, with facilities for art, music and Makerspace labs.
