Two entries – one grandly formal, one for everyday convenience – make Perry’s Design 4098 a home for all occasions
Perry’s Design 4098, one of 14 model homes in Elyson’s new Model Home Village, has two entrances that are very different, but both are pretty wonderful.
Enter through the front door, and you step into a magnificent rotunda foyer with a 20-foot rotunda ceiling. The focal point of this foyer is a gracefully curved staircase, displayed in this model home with elegant iron spindles.
The foyer leads back to the family room, which has a 19-foot ceiling and a wall of windows framing views of the extended covered patio and backyard.
Design 4098’s second entrance is not as grand as the first, but it will endear itself to its owners in other ways.
This “everyday entrance” opens from the three-car garage, providing a thoughtful clustering of the mud room, laundry room, walk-in food pantry and butler’s pantry. The mud room has a built-in bench, backpack rack and additional storage space.
Sometimes called the “family foyer,” this is likely to be the most-used entry in everyday family life. Perry has decorated it very attractively, with crisp white wainscoting, honeycomb tile, glass-front cabinets and other details.
These entries are just two of our favorite features of Design 4098, which showcases Perry plans priced from the mid $600Ks on 65-foot-wide homesites.
We also love the luxurious primary bedroom suite, featuring double walk-in closets and a soaking bathtub. The primary suite and a private guest suite are both located on the first floor.
Off the main foyer, French doors enclose the home office, featuring a wall of built-in cabinets and shelves.
The upstairs media room is big enough to host a festive viewing party, with a recessed media wall and recessed raised ceiling to accommodate the latest home entertainment technology and equipment. In an effective and creative use of color, the walls and ceiling are all painted in a relaxing allover shade of dark blue.
Storage is a strong suit for Design 4098, with all five bedrooms offering walk-in closets, and a number of other closets and storage areas provided throughout the floor plan.
The Elyson model home displays Perry’s extended covered patio option, offering ample space for seating and dining areas with views of the backyard.
Design 4098 is one of three Perry model homes in Elyson’s new Model Home Village, where 14 model homes are located in all. The village also includes the Elyson Welcome Center and a short trail leading to tours of our newest major amenity, Lakeside Landing.
