Westin wows with grand entrance in Haven IX model home
If there’s one thing Westin Homes is known best for, it’s the unforgettable first impression they make with their grand foyers. From curved staircases to rotunda ceilings adorned with wedding cake tiers, these foyers immediately let you know you’ve stepped into a home that’s filled with design panache.
Westin’s new Haven IX model home in Elyson shows that Westin’s grand foyers are not just reserved for their largest and most expensive homes.
This stunning model showcases Westin’s most attainable collection of home plans, priced from the low $400Ks in Elyson, a top-selling master-planned community in the highly regarded Katy Independent School District with a vision for more than 750 acres of recreational amenities, parks, trails and natural open space.
Inspiring ceilings aren’t just reserved for the foyer in the Haven IX plan. The open kitchen, dining and family room has an airy cathedral ceiling with stained wood beams, making a nice contrast with the crisp white paint.
Pendant lights above the kitchen island, a chandelier in the dining room, and a ceiling fan in the family room define the spaces in this large open area. One of our favorite features is the rear wall, filled with window cutouts that echo the shape of the ceiling. The many windows flood this open area with natural light.
There are two bedrooms on the main floor, including a spacious primary suite with views of the covered patio. A guest bedroom with a private bath is also on the first level.
With its freestanding spa tub and glass-enclosed walk-in shower, the Haven offers choices for how you want to revive and wash off the dust of the day. A large frosted window next to the tub lets in diffused natural light while preserving privacy. The split vanities offer plenty of countertop space, with a makeup desk in one. There’s also a room-sized walk-in closet.
Upstairs, the Haven IX has three more bedrooms and a gameroom.
