Newmark Homes joins Elyson’s builder lineup with customizable new plans
Newmark Homes is joining Elyson’s team of leading homebuilders with a collection of plans that emphasize natural light, seamless indoor and outdoor living areas, and the invitation for buyers to customize their homes by adding personalized features and reconfiguring spaces.
This collection will be offered on 70-foot-wide homesites in an Elyson neighborhood surrounded by lakes and open green space, near new amenities including Lakeside Landing and Elyson Courts. One- and two-story floor plans will range from 3,200 to 4,200 square feet.
Interested homebuyers can join Newmark’s priority list to be contacted when sales begin in August. Stephen Bigelow, Newmark’s new community sales manager for Elyson, will be able to meet with prospective homebuyers at the Elyson Welcome Center until their new model home opens in early 2024.
The future Cologne model home will showcase the abundant natural light, open concept interiors and other features making Newmark’s Signature Series at Elyson a truly unique catalogue of homes.
The Cologne plan has two large outdoor living areas, including an enclosed front courtyard and a covered patio. Covered balconies are also included or optional features on other plans in the Signature Series. In addition to providing outdoor living space that can be enjoyed many months of the year, these outdoor areas help to flood the open interiors with natural light, at the same time preserving privacy.
With soaring two-story ceilings from the foyer to the family room, and floor-to-ceiling windows in main living areas, the Cologne will be a stunning example of the architectural drama and thoughtful features offered by the Signature Series. This plan has formal living and dining rooms, with a butler’s pantry and mud room leading to the gourmet kitchen. The luxurious primary suite is on the main floor, along with a private guest suite.
Upstairs, the Cologne plan has a gameroom, media room and two more spacious bedrooms.
Newmark invites homebuyers to customize homes in the Signature Series, from redrawing plans to create new features, to moving walls to reconfigure spaces. This flexibility is one reason Newmark was honored as the 2022 Builder of the Year by the Greater Houston Builders Association.
Newmark’s homes will be situated near new recreational amenities including Elyson Courts, which will have two tennis courts and two pickleball courts when it opens this summer. They are also near Lakeside Landing, a major community center nestled on the shore of a 31-acre lake. It will also open this fall.
Other Elyson amenities include Elyson House, which offers a café, year-round swimming pool and tennis courts; and Elyson Commons at Bear Creek, a 145-acre park with sports fields, a dog park, outdoor fitness center and Wildflower Trail. Overall, Elyson’s 3,642-acre master plan calls for more than 750 acres of parks and natural open space, including more than 30 miles of trails.
Elyson is located in the Katy Independent School District, ranked as the No. 1 Best School District in the Houston Area by Niche. Onsite schools include McElwain Elementary and Harmony School of Excellence, with Stockdick Junior High and Paetow High School just a few miles away. Katy ISD plans to open a new elementary school in August 2023 near Elyson, as part of a K-12 tri-campus that will also include a future middle school and high school.
Elyson offers new homes priced from the $300Ks to over $1 million from nine leading homebuilders, with 18 model homes and the Elyson Welcome Center open in the Elyson Model Home Village.
