Chesmar showcases new neighborhood experience with the Courtyard Collection at Elyson
With four fully furnished model homes showcased in one cul-de-sac, Chesmar’s new Courtyard Collection offers home shoppers a unique and convenient way to experience the lifestyle offered by this innovative series of single-family homes at Elyson.
The Courtyard Collection models are among the few not located in Elyson’s central Model Home Village, home to 12 decorated model homes. Instead, they are nestled in the neighborhood where the Courtyard collection is being built, bordered by scenic amenities including the 145-acre Elyson Commons at Bear Creek Park and Honeybell Gardens.
In one visit, home shoppers can tour four of the seven plans available in the Courtyard Collection, priced from the mid $300,000s. Each design is unique, offering a variety of flex rooms, outdoor living areas, and choices of which floor hosts the main living area and primary bedroom.
The Courtyard Collection “mini model village” also shows off the attractive and sociable design of this neighborhood, laid out in a series of cul-de-sacs, with homes arranged in groups of four around landscaped motor courts with decorative paving. Each home includes a two-car garage, a small front yard and a private fenced backyard.
Here’s a quick look at each Chesmar Courtyard Collection model home at Elyson. For the best experience, please visit in person, and be sure to stop by the Elyson Welcome Center at the main Model Home Village – it’s right on the way.
The Hawkins
The only three-story model home in Elyson, the Hawkins offers the most spacious floor plan in the Courtyard Collection, with 1,904 square feet of living space in addition to three covered outdoor areas.
Beyond its front porch, the Hawkins begins with an elegant foyer with wood flooring and a staircase with modern metal railings. The foyer leads back to a flex room, displayed as a cozy sitting room.
The covered patio offers a nice view of the spacious backyard, typical of many of the backyards offered in this neighborhood.
The main living area is located on the second floor, and there are plenty of windows to take advantage of the elevated views. Richly stained wood floors, neutral gray countertops and crisp white cabinets add to the light and elegant feeling of the open living area.
The large kitchen island accommodates seating on three sides. A large picture window offers a view of the covered balcony and floods this spacious area with even more light.
The family room includes the optional fireplace, adding a contemporary design accent. The horizontal design of the fireplace further emphasizes the spacious dimensions of this casual living area.
Also on the second level, the primary suite has a luxurious bathroom with dual-level vanities, a glass-enclosed walk-in shower, and a room-sized walk-in closet.
On the third floor, the Hawkins has two more spacious bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet. In this model, one of the bedrooms is displayed as a home office.
The Riverdale
Of all the Courtyard Collection models at Elyson, the two-story Riverdale feels the most like a traditional home design. Step past the inviting front porch, and the family room, dining area and kitchen are all on the main floor, along with a covered patio.
Upstairs, the Riverdale has a spacious primary suite with a luxurious bath and huge walk-in closet. A flex room at the top of the stairs is displayed as a home office, and the covered balcony provides another outdoor living area.
The Riverdale has two more bedrooms upstairs, both with walk-in closets. As with all Courtyard Collection plans, extra storage space is thoughtfully provided throughout the home, with features such as extra walk-in closets (in addition to bedroom closets), walk-in pantries, and raised storage space in the garage.
The Springfield
Outdoor living space is abundant in the two-story Springfield, which has a wraparound front porch and covered patio on the main floor. On the second floor, a covered balcony mirrors the “L” shape of the front porch.
The ground floor includes an elegant foyer and two spacious bedrooms, with a full bathroom in between. In the model, one bedroom is showcased as an exercise studio with access to the patio for outdoor workouts.
The second floor is the main living level for the Springfield, with the family room, casual dining area and kitchen all flooded with natural light from the large and plentiful windows.
A study nook is located just outside the primary bedroom suite, which has a luxurious bath and large walk-in closet.
The Storybrooke
Featuring a subtly Southwest décor and architectural details such as a metal porch roof, the Storybrooke showcases many of the thoughtful standard features that make the Courtyard Collection so special. This two-story model home also displays some of the optional features buyers can choose to customize their homes.
On the ground floor, the Storybrooke has a flex room that’s displayed as a teen hangout and study. The optional covered rear patio is also shown, and the Storybrooke has more options for a covered side patio and extended wraparound front porch (where the homesite allows).
Upstairs, on the main living level, the covered balcony extends across most of the family room and kitchen, creating a light-filled indoor/outdoor living area with great views. Windows between the countertops and upper cabinets add even more light. On the half-wall that encloses the staircase, most of the sheetrock is cut out and accented with horizontal metal railings, adding another modern note and even more natural light.
The four Courtyard Collection model homes are open daily for touring.
