Westin adds new, larger floor plans in new Elyson neighborhood
With many of its plans offering double front doors and soaring rotunda foyers with spiral staircases, Houston-based Westin Homes is known as a builder that creates breathtaking first impressions.
Now building in a new Elyson neighborhood, Westin has added new floor plans that build on its reputation for grand design, at prices starting in the mid $300,000s.
New plans include the two-story Hopkins, which begins with Westin’s signature rotunda foyer and spiral staircase. The dramatic ceilings continue in the two-story family room, which has a Juliet balcony overlook from the upstairs landing.
As practical as it is stylish, the Hopkins has formal living and dining rooms with coffered ceilings, and a downstairs primary bedroom suite with a bay window sitting area. The island kitchen has a pocket office area with a built-in desk, along with a large walk-in pantry.
Upstairs, the Hopkins has three more bedrooms, along with a gameroom and media room.
Other new plans include the Hudson, which proves that you can also have a grand foyer in a one-story home. The Hudson’s rotunda foyer draws the eye upward to a detailed ceiling with several layers of recessed details. With 2,917 square feet, this four-bedroom home has an open family, kitchen and casual dining area that overlooks a covered patio. The primary suite has a huge walk-in closet. Other highlights include a study with optional French doors and a mudroom with an optional built-in desk.
Westin has also released new versions of some of its most popular plans, including the Preston III. This is an updated generated of its fully furnished model home in Elyson, with new features based on feedback from homebuyers and Realtors.
Westin has also enhanced the exteriors of its new homes in Elyson, with greater architectural detail and more combinations of stone, stucco and brick. Rooflines have a higher pitch for more curb appeal, and Westin is also providing enhanced front yard landscaping in this new Elyson neighborhood.
