Elyson offers lakeside living from 5 leading homebuilders
Elyson’s 3,642-acre master plan that devotes more than 750 acres to parks, trails, recreation centers and natural open spaces. That acreage also includes many scenic lakes, creating prime waterfront homesites for new homes.
With three new lakeside neighborhoods now open, Elyson offers waterfront homes from five leading homebuilders, with a variety of home styles and price ranges available.
Highland Homes and Perry Homes offer a limited number of lakefront homesites in an Elyson neighborhood of 65-foot-wide homesites. One entire street of homesites arcs along the lake on one side, creating expansive water and greenbelt views. Home prices in this neighborhood start in the $350,000s, although premiums typically apply to waterfront homesites.
Darling Homes and Trendmaker Homes offer homesites with lake and greenbelt views in an Elyson neighborhood of 70-foot-wide homesites. Prices start in the $430,000s. This neighborhood is close to the Elyson House community center and a future elementary school site.
Drees Custom Homes offers patio homes priced from the mid $300,000s in Elyson’s first gated neighborhood. About one-third of the 63 homesites offer water views.
Martha Sellers, a Katy area Realtor who moved to Elyson last year, says that her family enjoys the views from their lakeside homesite.
“We have beautiful views of the sunsets every day. Along with the trails and open space, the lakes are one of our favorite things about living here,” she said.
