10 things we love about Drees’ new patio home model in Elyson
Drees Custom Homes has opened its Brynlee II model home, showcasing its collection of patio homes in Elyson’s first gated neighborhood, located next to the community’s newest park.
Here are 10 things we love about this beautifully decorated model home.
Guest suite. The Brynlee II displays an optional guest bedroom with an en suite bathroom. It’s decorated as an inviting sleepover haven for the grandkids, with a sweet “Grandparent’s Rules” pillow, prints of happy kids and other touches.
Family foyer. The secondary foyer off of the three-car tandem garage is a popular feature in Drees’ homes. With its built-in bench for taking off shoes, and laundry room access for tossing in soiled clothes, it’s a great place to launch or end the day.

Wine time. The Brynlee II shows off its entertaining potential with a built-in wine storage and serving area. It includes stunning dark cabinetry and a brick backsplash in an elegant herringbone pattern.
Ceiling details. Throughout the Brynlee II, detailed ceiling treatments add texture and interest. The foyer is one of the best examples, with its dark inlaid wood ceiling laid at an energizing diagonal.
Luxurious bath. The Brynlee II’s primary bath is worth a photo gallery all to itself, and it’s certainly worth a visit. A freestanding tub on a pebble tile island, an oversized walk-in shower and a huge walk-in closet are just a few of the details. Windows placed high on the wall flood the bathroom with natural light while preserving privacy.
Great wall. The Brynlee II has dramatic wall treatments throughout, and our favorite is the dark paneled wall in the owner’s suite. Along with the beamed ceiling and modern chandelier, this wall sets a soothing, sophisticated vibe for the owner’s suite.
Stone exterior. The Brynlee II also a beautiful exterior, blending crisp white stucco with natural stone and dark-stained wood accents. The front porch offers an inviting welcome.
