See Elyson amenities in this Houston Chronicle slideshow
Like a proud parent, we can’t help showing off new photos of Elyson House, our beautiful flagship amenity here at Elyson.
Check out this Houston Chronicle slideshow for some unique views of Elyson House, including an awesome sunset panorama and an aerial view of the big pool complex.
These photos were taken by Studio Red Architects, which worked with Newland to create this impressive and inviting Prairie-style building.
As the Chronicle notes, “Elyson’s new prairie-style amenities center incorporates materials from old structures on the former rice farm where the 3,642-acre community is going up near the Grand Parkway and FM 529.”
The slideshow includes images of the unique ceilings in the grand welcome hall and in the fitness center. In both of these spaces, the ceiling is paneled with wood from the old rice dryer that once stood on the land.
Another touch if history is found in the game room at Elyson House, where the old metal sliding doors from the rice dryer frame a big-screen TV.
There’s no image of that in the slideshow, but come out and see these and many other cool features for yourself – and stay for a tasty lunch at Elyson Café!
